Nick Shirley uncovers three DME companies in one tiny apartment 🚩No equipment on site. 🚩 Wife of the owner had no answers when asked. 🚩 Three companies launched months apart. Classic fraud red flags.

Who is approving the payments to these bogus companies without checking whether they are legit ??

That is money taken from tax-payers. Try not paying your taxes and see what happens. Worse, try and commit fraud, year after year, and see what happens. The gov't agencies who are supposed to approve, over-see and follow-up on the money they hand out are full of lazy, inept, and virtually un-fireable staff. The "public servants" do not give a shit because they do not have to.

Just a real New Yorker with perspective— He might use his home as the business address and has the equipment in a warehouse somewhere Many companies in NYC have separate business and physical addresses, with the business address sometimes being a home. Even my church does that.

The New York politicians are part of the fraud. They profit from the fraud. They are buying elections. Its your money thats paying for them by them by turning a blind eye to the theft.

60 Minutes used to do pieces like this, but now they are so far left they have no interest in uncovering this massive fraud against US taxpayers.

I live in this area. I’m 99% sure that apartment is in a government housing project. They must have massively lied about their income to live there.

DMEs are often heavily computerized mail order businesses which collect orders via computer-operated menus. I’m an Apria customer whose insurance denied my claim because Apria messed up the submission. Rather than fix the claim and get paid, they continue to send me bills for what would be my co-pay. Also they screwed up billing my previous order and they owe me ~$5 credit from that. The bill that they are sending gave me ~$10 credit instead. Yes, I am absolutely sure that all of the actual human thought and attention that Apria gives to all of their claims could be accomplished by a single part time worker in a home office. Because clearly there is so little of it!

It’s interesting how all this relatively small fraudes are all done by immigrants. It’s evident from Nick’s videos that they have not come up with the scam themselves. So who’s behind it?

Not supporting fraud at all especially in my own city. What's the problem with registering your home address as your business? Tons of businesses do this. They could be keeping the equipment elsewhere. I don't think this is much of a smoking gun.

As an RN in a big Internal Medicine private office, a lot of my job was protecting the providers from signing unsolicited orders sent by mass fraudsters for DME. You would think everyone was a diabetic and needed a huge box of metal back and leg braces!

For those of you that don't know - DME stands for "Durable Medical Equipment," wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. Medicare is billed (and covers) $14 to $15 BILLION a year on DME. And by Medicare, I mean your (and my) tax dollars.

Fraud fretters and @DrOzCMS forgets he has a CMS agency to run and still thinks he has a TV show...you have to remember in March of 2026 he did this.. March 2026 Oz and company shut down the CMS Hospice oversight program and start blaming Armenian gangs....and did that childish video... Hospice industry gets reprieve as Trump admin pauses oversight program tinyurl.com/25rbam7y With Oz's son being in private equity he spends a ton of time it appears with PE bottom feeder Bill Frist in the armpit of healthcare in TN...code hosing is easy there and where UNH Change Healthcare is located..Oz and his son started 340B drug consulting firm ZorroRX.. Oz is just a fake showman as the law enforcement will find a lot more fraud, the kid is there to sell t-shirts and coffee cups...we know that and he should turn his findings over to lawmakers..as there's a million stories in the naked city.. I'm tired of this nonsense of all fraud fretting boogies crap on X and find it useless as it blocks real news and these guy with their post here are making X banger bucks off the drama queen they can stress out every day and get their bowels in an uproar over something the reader has no control over. It's just wrecks their day as they haven't figured out being set up to fret while others money off a bunch of dumbos on here -this is not the real world 🤣 Oz is actually doing everyone in with being scripted by the enemy of the people, the awful evil Paragon Stink Tank who modeled this whole X Fraud Squawking PR dog and pony, right on his profile..Oz has arleady been caught using incorrect numbers with accusations about New York from Paragon that he had to eat...so enjoy the farce

I’ve ran into this myself in Florida. I’m disabled and need assistive devices, there are tons with a “store front” but they are never open. I never realized it was fraud until Nick came along!

Nick will go down in history as a legendary reporter that exposed American government fraud and theft of taxpayer money. Maybe other reporters should take note?

42% of the population of NYC is on Medicaid. The city owns 200,000 apartments (NYCHA, average rent $600). Government spending IS the economy for huge parts of the city. In neighborhoods like Harlem or the South Bronx, the only economic activities occurring aside from sketchy bodegas (and crack) are scammy Medicaid clinics, and NGOs operating dubious shelters/daycares/rehabs/methadone clinics etc.
