I don’t care what Bruce Springsteen says, but he should stay out of politics because I don’t think he is very smart.

Good man. Ticket prices are so high, we just want to see entertainment for our dollar. We can watch insufferable scolds blathering about politics for free at home.

I’ve already credited Jagger with a keen (and practical) mind, so that he’d say that is no surprise to me. Springsteen is like the drunken angry uncle blaring his politics at a family Thanksgiving while everyone else is too well-bred to engage with him . Just sing already for your paying audience. It is not your job to harangue your audience. You have nothing of value to contribute to the conversation. You’re just indulging your vanity.

He is so spot on! He can have an opinion but he doesn’t need to share it with the world. Thank you Mick Jagger for some common sense and respectfully disagreeing with the reporter.

Respect! My parents’ first date was a Rolling Stone’s concert. My father has passed away and my mother has dementia. And this guy is *still* going strong entertaining the world. Kudos. 💕

Springsteen doesn’t engage in any back and forth. Springsteen rages at those who disagree with him.

My first concert was in 1967 when I saw the Temptations the last concert I saw was Jeff Beck before he passed away. I probably saw over 100 shows easily and I never heard any band preach about politics or who you should vote for.

At times their songs have had societal or political type messages. I think that is their artistic license. I listen to them for their music and songs. Period

In other words, don't give people who like your music, which is why they know who you are in the first place, a reason not to like you and stop listening to your music.

Meaningful? Come on! Its only one way with Springsteen. Hes seriously boring today. Jagger is spot on!

I wish every musician and actor understood that. We go to concerts and movies to be entertained. We have our own opinions we don’t need their lectures and don’t care what they think. Especially if we paid for a fun experience.

Yeah I stopped listening to Bruce many years ago. He doesn’t care to stay in his lane of music, and stay out of politics. F that guy

Listening to the Rolling Stones still today, Springsteen removed from my playing lists. His music except from his first two albums has not aged well. Entertainers, shut up and entertain, not interested in your politics. Jagger 👍🏻

The NYT start to feel lonely nowadays now that people've started to see through their propaganda and ignored them completely. Maybe try to tell the truth, the whole truth for a change, NYT?

Bruce doesn’t know his own zip code let alone global governance. He hates Trump, OK. He’s allowed. There’s plenty wrong in London, Mick has a degree in Econ but he gets it: no one bought a ticket to a lecture.
