Chip is right—we're never going to get a constitutional amendment passed in the current political climate. Heck, we can't even get a simple majority in the Senate to kill the filibuster and pass the SAVE America Act. And therein lies the problem: How do we fix Congress when its members are beholden to lobbyists and NGOs that have no interest in solving our immigration issues?

Why aren't more people addressing the fact that H1B visa holders are having multiple children per family and getting birthright. It all must end. Republicans can end it in Congress right now.

Red States should stop issuing US birth certificates to the children of illegal aliens and write in the name of the illegals home country, problem solved.

There was a massive wave of abuse of birthright citizenship prior to Trump 45. You'd see groups of pregnant Chinese women in SoCal shopping together. All of that stopped by 2017. They'll be back very soon.

I guess the biggest issue there is to get Congress to approve the changes to make it work. Like the SAVE Act, it needs a willingness to make it happen.

Prevent women of child bearing age from entry into the United States. It’s the only legal way to stop “Birth tourism” without an amendment. Sounds unfair and discriminatory, but prevention is the only legal way forward. You can lie commit fraud on any Visa and still give birth to a US citizen. No matter what the mother did to get here her child will still be a citizen.

Oh, we know you don't wanna filibuster... Trust me, we definitely know how weak our reps are, especially one's from Texas that talk tough while they have more Indians and Sharia Law towns popping up than any other state.. Let's see if Texas can practice what it preaches first.

He is right in what he was saying but we also need to right laws about the surrogacy of foreigners, who come here get pregnant, remain until the baby is born, then go back to home country until child becomes an adult. They can use a citizen to carry the baby or provide the sperm, too. We need to really tighten up the surrogacy of foreigners. I do think we should ban women of child-baring age, from staying more than 2 months if visiting.
