Yea Alabama content director arrested in Shelby County human trafficking operation

SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. —

Yea Alabama, the official NIL entity and fan experience for University of Alabama athletics, has suspended its content director after his arrest during a Shelby County human trafficking operation.

Robert "Aaron" Suttles was charged with prostitution: commercialized sex, according to the Shelby County Jail website.

A criminal complaint alleges Suttles agreed to pay $100 for sexual activity on July 23.

Suttles was arrested alongside 14 other men, the majority of whom have since bonded out of jail.

Yea Alabama said that the arrest was not connected to its business and that an internal review is underway. All mention of Suttles' name has been removed from Yea Alabama's website.
