U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., is now admitting the SAVE America Act strongly promoted by President Donald Trump to prevent voter fraud is designed to stop Democrats from winning any future election.

During a town-hall meeting, Slotkin touted her opposition to the legislation, admitting it “would literally allow this administration to rig our democracy so that it would be hard for any Democrat in any state to win any election.”

That caught the attention of numerous voices on the political right.

Blaze columnist Auron MacIntyre noted: “We’ve reached the point where Democrats are just admitting out loud that they rely on voter fraud and importing illegals to win every election.”

“Without foreigners and voter fraud the Dems would not exist, they are literally the party of non-Americans.”

Sean Davis, CEO at the Federalist, said: “Democrats are openly admitting they only win elections through fraud.”

U.S. Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, wondered: “Why would Democrats not be able to win elections if only American citizens are allowed to vote?”

Gill’s House colleague Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., is pushing to attach the SAVE America Act “to all the appropriation bills and all must-pass bills here in the House [to ensure] it is sent to the Senate as one bill.”

“If John Thune strips it out in the Senate that will be on him and the entire country should be watching what he does. If he wants to actively work against Voter I.D. & the SAVE America Act he must face the consequences of his actions. His State party should censure him and/or he should be primaried if he wants to betray his constituents in this manner. That is the nature of politics.”

“Hard to hide behind other senators when he is actively working against an issue that 80% of Americans support,” Luna added.
