The Iran war apparently is staying the Iran war, at least for now.

President Donald Trump said in a social media statement Friday that he’s been led to believe by both China and Russia that they are staying out.

He said, “President Xi, at our recent meeting in Beijing, China, told me that he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran — And that statement included Chinese Companies. Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also. Likewise, President Putin, despite the horrible War going on in Ukraine (The relationship remains, as it does with President Zelenskyy), told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran. He understands that I do not sell Weapons to Ukraine, but to NATO Countries. They pay full price, and how those Weapons are distributed, I have no idea.”

He continued, “Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them — Certainly not in their best interests.”

According to a report at NewsNation, sources in the intelligence community just a day earlier expressed worries that Russia might be helping Iran.

The foundation of those concerns reportedly was Iran’s enhanced targeting ability of CIA facilities, the report said.

There has been escalated conflict over the past week or more because of Iran’s public rejection of a memorandum of understanding that pushed for a ceasefire while negotiations continued.

President Trump has promised to deliver attacks on Iranian infrastructure in response to the Islamic regime’s assaults on ships carrying petroleum and more.

Pakistan also reportedly is looking for a way to resume talks over issues that triggered the war, now going on five months.

It was begun on the orders of President Trump based on Iran’s demands for nuclear weapons and threats to use them.

Just lately, a former Iranian government official insisted the regime should return to its 1979 playbook when extremists kidnapped Americans and threatened their lives.
