TDS: Did United offer free destination changes to flyers offended by Donald J. Trump Airport? * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

TDS, or Trump Derangement Syndrome, is that affliction affecting Democrats and other leftists that enables them to react with extremes, sometimes even violence, to anything identified with, connect to, or representing President Donald J. Trump.
In recent days, following a name change for Palm Beach International Airport to Donald J. Trump International Airport, there have been claims that United Airlines is offering free ticket adjustments if people with TDS don’t want to be routed through that location.
It’s wrong, United has confirmed.
The messaging that appeared was from a memo that was “poorly worded and not accurate,” the airline said.
The initial reporting included:
JUST IN – United Airlines is allowing customers who object to flying into an airport named after President Donald Trump to switch their flights to Fort Lauderdale or Miami for free, according to an internal memo shared with Live And Let’s Fly pic.twitter.com/JgLepxXx1R

A Fox report said the internal memo was obtained by Live And Let’s Fly and it told reservation agents to suggest no-cost alternatives, including nearby Fort Lauderdale or Miami airports, for TDS sufferers.
However, United told FOX Business the memo was “poorly worded and not accurate.”
United Airlines is reportedly allowing some passengers to change their flights for free if they don’t want to land at Florida’s newly renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport.

A report in the Washington Examiner said United was rejecting claims it “will allow passengers to change itinerary to avoid newly renamed Trump airport.”
The report said the name change came just days ago, after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a state legislature bill into law ordering the name change on March 30.
The “leaked” memo suggested TDS sufferers were being offered an accommodation.
That memo reportedly suggested, “If a customer does not want to fly to the airport, use your empowerment to offer acceptable alternatives such as Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) or Miami International Airport (MIA).”
Not right, the airline said.
The memo, in fact was worded incorrectly and wasn’t entirely accurate.
The airline said customers cannot change their airport simply because they do not like the facility’s name.
“United customers are able to make changes to a ticket without a fee for many reasons. However, our policy doesn’t allow for changes because of an airport’s name or three letter code,” United Media Relations said in the statement to the Washington Examiner.
