A stunning story has come out of the tarot reading industry: A popular player in the game, Alex Reads Tarot, has confirmed the loss of thousands of followers after revealing she’s “following Jesus.”
Protestia confirmed, “This is a phenomenal testimony and worth the 10 minutes. ‘Alex Reads Tarot’ was a popular and prominent social media creator in the WitchTok space, where she gained a large following by posting daily tarot readings, zodiac updates, and paid spiritual readings.
“Then, without warning, she nuked her social media accounts, deleted all her videos, changed her handle to ‘Alex in the Ordinary,’ changed her look, and announced in an emotional testimony that she’s become a Christian as a result of Christ calling her to Himself. She is clear: ‘Jesus Christ has saved my life.’ She notes that once the account is gone, she will not be making any more social media content, but rather will be stepping out of the spotlight to pursue her good God and Savior and His call on her life. Keep this sister in your prayers!”

A report at Perthnow said Alex Reads Tarot “uploaded a video last week admitting she would no longer do tarot readings and would instead be committing herself to her faith and embracing Christianity.”
“Over the last few years my work has become a huge part of my life. Its connected me with incredible people all across the world,” she said. “This is what makes this so difficult. But over the past nearly year, something has begun to change in me on my journey. I noticed that as my faith grew, I began to find myself wrestling with questions that I couldn’t quite ignore.”
She said, “If you told me a year ago I’d be making this video – I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But one thing that I’ve come to realize is that life can gently shift in ways that we don’t always see coming. I know that some people may find this decision surprising, and some people may wonder how I can be saying this after spending years of doing the work that I’ve done. But all I can do is be honest.”
She continued, “This will be my final post. I am not going to be offering any more readings or sessions. I’m not going to be creating any more tarot content. And once this account is gone, I will not be returning. … I don’t know exactly what comes next for me, but what I do know is that Jesus Christ has saved my life, and I can no longer ignore that reality.”
