WEST PALM BEACH, Florida – Drivers on a legendary stretch of I-95 in South Florida are getting a fresh reminder of their local resident who happens to be president.

The signs for Palm Beach International Airport are now being changed to read Donald J. Trump International Airport ahead of the official renaming of the facility on July 9.

The Florida Legislature approved the name change back in February and Republican Gov. Ron Desantis signed the measure into law in March.

Eric Daugherty of Florida’s Voice News clowned: “Democrats are going to be trying to avoid this airport at all costs, or rage every time they see it. FLORIDA = TRUMP COUNTRY.”

The current three-letter airport code of PBI will eventually change in August to the president’s initials of DJT.

Florida lawmakers approved $2.75 million for the rebranding effort of signage, uniforms and marketing materials, with airport revenue covering the remainder. The airport also worked out a licensing agreement with the Trump Organization.

Jim Hoft at the Gateway Pundit noted: “This is Florida doing what Florida does best, boldly honoring President Donald Trump while the radical left throws tantrums and files lawsuits.”
