It’s been since the Barack Obama years, when he, as a Democrat, took control of massive portions of the American economy through his “Obamacare” agenda, that some members of his party have been going to extremes.

The arrogance was exhibited by twice-candidate Hillary Clinton, who simply ignored the law regarding classified information and got away with it.

And under Joe Biden, the Ilhan Omars, Alexandra Ocasio Cortezes and others openly have advocated against the best interests of the United States.

Now such extremism is drawing a warning even from a Democrat.

It is U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., who says the rise of the “dirtbag left” within his own party, is outrageous.

A report at the Hill explains he made the comments to Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

And they came following primary victories in New York Democrat House races, won by Darializa Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez, who both call themselves democratic socialists.

They both were backed by “democratic socialist” New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, whose efforts in that city so far have been to manipulate the numbers and claim his budget is “balanced.”

Fetterman said, “Yeah, no, I mean, these — the kind of people they are trying to run out of office, they are just good, traditional kinds of Democrats you would expect in New York City now.

“And now this has just become — really, it’s just been the dancing days of the dirtbag left. You know, some of these candidates are outrageous. You have candidates, they’re ‘abolish ICE,’ ‘abolish the police,’ ‘abolish the border.’”

The Hill explained “dirtbag left” refers to those in the party who are extreme in their agendas and who bash “mainstream Democrats.”

“Writer Amber A’Lee Frost, one of the co-hosts of the ‘dirtbag left’ podcast ‘Chapo Trap House,’ is credited with coining the term,” the report said.

Fetterman now has become known as a critic of “the growing left-wing movement” within his party.

He accused these candidates of being a “pro-Hamas wing … just declaring a war on just regular Democrats.”

His comments prompted ex-New York City Comptroller Brad Lander, who booted incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman in New York’s 10th district, to speculate whether Fetterman “is in our party anymore.”

“Democrats are having primaries to determine what kind of candidates we want to put on the field, and they‘ll be a diverse array of candidates because they reflect and represent a diverse array of districts,” said Lander, another one endorsed by Mamdani.

He said Fetterman should stop attacking other Democrats.
