‘DERANGED!’ Trump pushes 10 years in prison for vandals who left ‘300 foot long gash’ and dumped chemicals in Reflecting Pool * WorldNetDaily * by Joe Kovacs

With numerous arrests made in connection with vandalism to the newly renovated Lincoln Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump on Monday reminded Americans there is a 10-year prison sentence for anyone convicted of doing the damage.

“Of the MANY Statues and Fountains that we rebuilt, renovated, cleaned, and fixed, the only one that was Vandalized was the Reflecting Pool, which is being taken care of, ASAP!” Trump exclaimed on Truth Social.

“It has been given a 300 foot long gash, chemicals have been illegally placed in the water, and the beautiful new grass field has been destroyed with a gigantic 86 47 chemically carved into it (Probably inspired by Dirty Cop, James Comey!).

“Please remember that there is a 10 year prison sentence for the destruction, or even the attempted destruction, of such things – Which will be fully enforced! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

On Sunday, the president indicated: “Work will begin immediately on fixing the seriously vandalized Reflecting Pool. I just inspected it, and could only say to myself, and those gathered around me, WOW, who would do such a thing? SICK, DERANGED PEOPLE!”

Among those arrested on Friday was former Olympian David Hearn, who was charged with a misdemeanor for destruction of property.

Trump said Friday evening: “Many additional people have been arrested having to do with the disgraceful Vandalism of our beautiful Reflecting Pool. It hasn’t looked or worked like this since 1922, when it was originally built, but even then, it leaked badly, and didn’t work. Ours worked perfectly, including the mirror like finish, perfectly reflecting the two Great Monuments, which it never had before! What these terrible Vandals have done is a true affront to both Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and should be dealt with accordingly.

“We met with contractors today, will probably be forced to release and drain much of the water in order to do the necessary repairs, but will have them done as quickly as possible. What they have damaged does not even include the earlier killing of a large amount of grass which was, by far, the least of it. They took some form of knife or blade, and put a 250 foot long gash into the beautiful facade of what took so much work, competence, and money to build and complete. They also poured corrosive and destructive chemicals into the Pool. The Reflecting Pool was never so beautiful as it was just one week ago, even going back to 1922 when it opened. We are very proud of what we have done with this magnificent structure, and we will get it repaired, quickly, to an equal level of Beauty.”

Trump also hammered a member of what he calls the Fake News Media, saying: “Lightweight ABC Reporter, Jonathan Karl, was seen sticking his hand into the Pool, and trying to rip the rubber off of the surface.”

Karl had gone to the site last week, and said on camera: “Check this out. That American flag blue paint, it’s peeling away. The $14 million job to redo the bottom of this reflecting pool is falling apart before our eyes. The algae is still here, but the paint appears to be going away.”

On Sunday, Peter Doocy of Fox News asked U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C., Jeanine Pirro: “Is Jonathan Karl from ABC in trouble?”

“It depends,” Pirro replied. “Anyone who is in a position of vandalizing or attempting to vandalize the Reflecting Pool will face the criminal justice system in D.C.”

“The president has made it a priority to not only make D.C. safe, but beautiful.”

“There are several citations that have been handed out to individuals, and these are cases that will be prosecuted to the full extent. If there are more serious products that are put into the Reflecting Pool to create more algae or a bigger problem, then we’ll consider more serious charges.”

As WorldNetDaily reported Saturday, journalist Nick Sortor confirmed U.S. Park Police are investigating a carving of the “86 47” message promoted by ex-FBI chief James Comey in the lining. Comey is under indictment for posting online an image of seashells arranged with that message.

“This BS needs to end,” Sortor wrote.
