The wife of Jill Biden’s ex-husband, whom the former first lady married in 1970 and divorced in 1974, has been pronounced dead after a police team responded to an alleged call about a domestic dispute, according to a terse report posted by TMZ.

It explained Linda Stevenson was found unresponsive in her living room over the weekend.

She was pronounced dead there.

Linda Stevenson was married to Bill Stevenson, who had been married to the now-Jill Biden for those few years before Jill married then-Senator Joe Biden.

“New Castle County Police tell TMZ … officers responded to a reported domestic dispute at a home in Oak Hill around 11:15 Sunday night and found Linda Stevenson unresponsive in the living room,” the publication said. “Cops say officers immediately administered life-saving measures, but Linda was ultimately pronounced dead.”

Police said detectives from the department’s “Criminal Investigations Unit” were looking into the circumstances.

The Daily Mail reported there were few details being released, and while an autopsy is scheduled, a 9-1-1 call audio mentioned cardiac arrest.

“Stevenson previously told the Daily Mail how he and Jill were still married when she began seeing the future president,” the report explained.

No charges had been filed as of Tuesday, the report said.

In a previous interview Bill Stevenson said he gave Joe Biden $10,900 for his first senatorial campaign.

The report explained, “Stevenson said he first suspected Biden and his then-wife Jill were having an affair in August 1974. At the time, he was 26, Jill was 23 and Joe was 31.”

“I know exactly when it was. Bruce Springsteen was going to play at The Stone Balloon and I had to go to Northern New Jersey to pay him in advance,” he explained, at the time.

“I asked Jill to go with me and she said no — she had things to do, she had to look after Joe’s kids, Beau and Hunter. It was kind of a big deal to go meet Springsteen. I had no idea she and Joe were that kind of friendly. Then one of her best friends told me she thought Joe and Jill were getting a little too close.”
