Report: More than 400,000 arrested in Trump's border crackdown already were convicts or faced charges * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

A new report reveals one of the major impacts of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal aliens inside the U.S.
He’s effectively closed the border and dispatched law enforcement officers to track down those who broke into the country and remain here.
One of the impacts is that more than 400,000 convicted criminals, or suspects facing criminal counts, have been removed.
According to a report from the Washington Examiner, the Trump administration, up until Dec. 11, arrested 595,000 illegal immigrants in its interior immigration enforcement and deportations program.
“ICE, the federal agency tasked with interior immigration enforcement and deportations, revealed that 70% — or about 416,000 — have ‘criminal convictions or pending criminal charges just in the U.S.,'” the report said.
And, ICE confirmed, “This statistic doesn’t account for those wanted for violent crimes in their home country or another country, INTERPOL notices, human rights abusers, gang members, terrorists, etc. The list goes on.”
For example, the report noted, Antonio Israel Lazo-Quintanilla was arrested and while his only crime in the United States was driving without a license, he’s wanted in El Salvador for “aggravated homicide, extortion, possession of drugs, and a litany of other felonies.”
The Examiner said, “In another example, ICE arrested a Uzbekistan citizen, Akhror Bozorov, for operating a commercial vehicle. Bozorov had no criminal record in the U.S., but was wanted in his home country for his involvement with a terrorist organization.”
Democrats, whose chief at the time, Joe Biden, over the last four years literally opened America’s borders and let in millions of illegal aliens, including criminals and terrorists, have continued to insist that illegal aliens be protected.
They’ve ordered their own police departments not to cooperate and even obstruct federal law enforcement efforts. A judge in Wisconsin actually has been convicted of obstruction for trying to help an illegal alien criminal escape federal officers.
“Trump and Vice President JD Vance have estimated that between 500,000 and 1 million criminal illegal immigrants are residing in the country,” the report added.
The Trump administration also is working to remove illegal immigrants who already have been ordered to leave by an immigration judge, but who have remained.
ICE began to ramp up its arrests and deportations as soon as Trump took office for his second term.
