Leftists in the United Kingdom, already having documented their surging intolerance for any speech other than their own, now have put a bull’s-eye on a teacher.

For doing nothing more than showing students ages 17 and 18 political videos in a class on politics.

A report at the New York Post explains the details.

The teacher, whose name was not released, explained to the Telegraph that he showed the students videos of President Donald Trump.

And he was accused of causing “emotional harm” with child protective services threatening him with investigation of “hate crime.”

“They likened me to a terrorist. It was completely jarring,” the teacher said. “It’s dystopian, like something from a George Orwell novel.”

The investigation was launched at Henley College because two students complained that the Trump videos showed the teacher was “biased.”

The school said one of the videos made one of the students “quite uncomfortable.”

The school told him the political videos were “unrelated” to the politics class.

“We were discussing the U.S. election, Trump had just won, and I showed a couple of videos from the Trump campaign,” the teacher, who confirmed he is a supporter of Republicans, said.

He added, “Next thing, I was accused of bias. One of the students said they were emotionally disturbed and claimed to have had nightmares.”

The school called in a “Local Authority Designated Officer,” to investigate “safety.”

The investigator eventually said Henley should pursue a “Prevent referral,” sending the case to a government bureaucracy that “aims to stop individuals becoming terrorists,” the report said.

The investigation alleged, “There is concern that this behavior could cause harm to a child, there could be a criminal offence from the views which could constitute a hate crime and it’s possible that his promoting of views could be radicalization.”

The teacher, forced to resign, now has filed a grievance over that punishment.

The U.K.’s tolerance for speech is shrinking daily. Already, the nation’s “hate speech” and incitement regulations have triggered the arrests of people for praying, for commenting on politics and for speaking the truth regarding transgenderism.
