FALLING TEMPERATURES. A VERY BIG SHIFT, ALL THANKS TO THE COLD FRONT THAT IS MOVING THROUGH. SO THAT SAID, WHILE THE COLD FRONT IS GOING TO BRING US A CHILL, IT HAS ALREADY BROUGHT NOT JUST A CHILL, BUT EVEN WINTER WEATHER UP TO THE PANHANDLE. AND OUR JESSE PAGONE JOINS US WITH LIVE TEAM COVERAGE FROM CHIPLEY. YOU AND I WERE TALKING ON SOCIAL MEDIA A LITTLE BIT AGO, JESSE, AND I SAID, FROM WHERE YOU WERE, JUST TRAVEL A COUPLE OF MILES WEST, AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID. WELL, ERIC, I CALL YOU GENIUSES FOR A REASON BECAUSE YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD. WE WERE IN MARIANNA, FLORIDA, WHICH IS ABOUT AN HOUR TO THE WEST OF TALLAHASSEE, AND YOU SAID, GO TO CHIPLEY. IT’S SNOWING THERE. AND SO WE DID. AND SO WE FOUND IT. HERE WE ARE IN DOWNTOWN HISTORIC CHIPLEY. YOU CAN SEE IT’S BEEN FALLING DOWN AND IT’S BEEN ACCUMULATING ON BUSHES LIKE THIS. IT’S BEEN ACCUMULATING NOT ON THE GROUND. IT MELTS PRETTY MUCH AS SOON AS IT GETS TO THE GROUND. BUT PLANTS, BUSHES. AND HERE IN CHIPLEY, EVEN THE RAILROAD TRACKS. IF YOU FOLLOW ME THIS WAY, WE CAN WALK YOU OVER TO THE RAILROAD TRACKS RIGHT HERE. AND YOU CAN SEE ON THE GRAVEL THAT’S RIGHT AROUND THE RAILROAD TRACKS. IT IS ACCUMULATING JUST A LITTLE BIT THERE, ENOUGH FOR US TO SAY, HEY, THAT LOOKS LIKE SNOW ON THE GROUND. IF YOU TAKE A LOOK HERE ALONG THESE BUILDINGS AND THE AWNINGS HERE IN FRONT OF THESE STOREFRONTS, YOU CAN SEE LITTLE BITS OF IT STARTING TO MELT, BUT ACCUMULATING. I WILL TELL YOU, ERIC, WHEN WE WERE ON COFFEE, TALK ABOUT 20 OR SO MINUTES AGO, IT WAS COMING DOWN MUCH HEAVIER AND IN BIGGER CHUNKS THAN IT IS RIGHT NOW. IT SEEMS TO HAVE TAPERED OFF A BIT TO THE POINT WHERE YOU CAN SEE IT’S NOT REALLY HITTING ME IN THE FACE AND ACCUMULATING AND STAYING ON MY FACE AROUND MY SCARF OR ON MY JACKET THAT MUCH. MOST OF IT HAS BEEN MELTING OFF AT THIS POINT, BUT EARLIER WE WERE SEEING THOSE BIGGER PATCHES OF SNOW OUT HERE. OBVIOUSLY I LEAVE ALL THE GENIUS SCIENCE TO YOU. AS FOR MY PART, WE WERE SEARCHING FOR SNOW. WE FOUND A LITTLE BIT OF IT AT LEAST THIS MORNING. ERIC BACK TO YOU, JESSE. I’M GOING TO CHIME IN HERE BECAUSE. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. CHECK ONE. BUT ONE OF THE THINGS I WAS SURPRISED IS NOT A LOT OF KIDS ARE FOLKS RUNNING AROUND. AND YOU MENTIONED, WELL, LINDSAY, THAT’S BECAUSE WE’RE FURTHER WEST. WE’RE AT A WHOLE DIFFERENT TIME ZONE NOW. RIGHT? WE ARE SO OVER HERE. WE’RE AN HOUR EARLIER. SO YOU’RE WATCHING IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, BACK HOME IN ORLANDO AND CENTRAL FLORIDA. YOU’RE WATCHING WESH 2 NEWS SUNRISE AT 9 A.M. ON YOUR SUNDAY MORNING HERE. IT’S STILL ABOUT 8 A.M. INSTEAD, BECAUSE WE ARE IN A DIFFERENT TIME ZONE. SO A LOT OF THE STOREFRONTS HERE ARE CLOSED UP TO THIS POINT, AND THEY’RE NOT OPENING UNTIL A LITTLE BIT LATER. AND YOU CAN SEE THERE’S REALLY NOT THAT MUCH TRAFFIC. ANYWAY, WE SAW ONE PERSON SINCE WE’VE BEEN HERE FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES OR SO. WE SAW ONE PERSON WALKING PAST, AND EVEN AT THAT, THEY WERE MOVI
