Kerrville City Manager Dalton Rice has promised “a full review” of the tragedy and to take “clear steps to strengthen our future preparedness.”

The floods devastated Camp Mystic, a summer camp for girls. The camp announced that 27 campers and counselors had died as a result of the flooding.
