Frankie Muniz's Estranged Wife Responds After Divorce Announcement Gets Deleted
Frankie Muniz’s estranged wife responds after the actor deleted his initial divorce announcement and uploaded a new one following backlash.
The former Malcom in the Middle actor’s wife, Paige Price, rushed to the comments to defend him.
Muniz, 40, made the second announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, following the “cruel” online reaction to his initial post breaking the news. The original post can still be seen around the internet, which shows the couple dancing with their young son that many deemed inappropriate.

Many bashed the couple for celebrating the divorce, with many talking about the effects it will have on their son. Some even claimed that they were divorcing for no reason, and that they should have stuck it out to keep everyone a family.
After immense backlash, Frankie Muniz deleted the post and instead posted this on Wednesday, offering a happy photo of them with their son and a few paragraphs explaining the situation.
“Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage.”
“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels more natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents,” Muniz continued. “We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.”
“We’re closing one chapter with gratitude and opening the next with bright futures ahead, for us as individuals and especially for our son.”
The thoughtful message seemed to work with a lot of followers more; however, Page made it to the comments to show her support, saying, “Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you. This world is so f—-… divorce is bad, sure – it’s not like we’re excited about it… But we’re two adults who know how to be on the same team. I can’t believe people could scrutinize that.”
Muniz began dating actress and model Paige in 2016, and the two wed four years later, welcoming their son in 2021.
