Fashion commentator and journalist Derek Guy drew attention to the apparent marking on Trump's hand on Sunday, noting, "It seems to be a small hole at the site of discoloration".
He followed up shortly after, writing, "Wish I were a right-wing influencer bc the obvious next move is to say, 'Folks, I talked to a doctor. To see what they had had to say, subscribe to my Patreon/Substack for $20/ month and buy my 'there's a hole in his hand' merch."
Trump's ongoing hand bruising has raised questions ever since he began his second presidency in January.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has previously attributed the president's bruising to repetitive hand shaking, stating that the cause was "minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen."
Journalist Aaron Rupar first shared the most recent images of the hands. The prominent account Angry Staffer also commented on them, writing, "Rut roh, they're switching hands now? New 'preventative routine MRI' coming soon?"

Trump was previously diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) in the summer, according to a statement from the White House.
Veindoctor.com explains that this condition occurs when the veins in your legs struggle to return blood to your heart, causing blood to leak backward and pool in the legs instead of flowing upward.
The latest development involving Trump's hands seems to have brought his health back into focus, but there hasn't been any official update on what might be causing these new markings.
