A road rage accident and a quick reaction.

By now, of course, everyone knows that NYC’s traffic is insane – but this was way overboard.

Last Tuesday, a pedestrian in Brooklyn almost died in what we can only call a cinematic crash involving two automobiles.

CCTV footage shows the high-speed cars smashing into a building, narrowly missing the pedestrian.

The cars were reportedly involved in a road rage incident.

The 20-year-old man did some quick thinking on his feet that saved his life.

The New York Post reported:

“Insane video shows the moment two drivers — one allegedly intoxicated — smashed into a Brooklyn building in a suspected road rage showdown that injured an innocent bystander, police and sources said.

The footage shows a pedestrian in a blue tracksuit strolling along Fulton Street in Bedford Stuyvesant around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday when two cars — a black Cadillac and BMW — suddenly sped into view after tearing through a red light, according to cops.

The 20-year-old bystander managed to leap out of the way as both cars nearly hit him, with the BMW slamming into the building, destroying an under-construction yoga studio that was due to open in weeks.”

Both road ragers were arrested after the dramatic crash.

“The pedestrian was injured [was grazed and debris hit him], as were the Cadillac driver, Anthony Hayes, 56, and the BMW driver, Robert Walker, 43, who were both arrested. All three were taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.”
