A violent takeover of a New York Five Guys restaurant was caught on camera earlier this month, showing a large group of savage youngsters destroying the eatery and viciously attacking an employee.

Some reports and viral social media posts suggest the 24-year-old employee, who was left bloodied by punching, kicking, and chairs being launched over the counter, was a San Antonio Spurs fan. However, it is still unclear if that’s why he was attacked.

After midnight on the morning of June 11, the “youths” were seen throwing chairs at the employee as he tried to defend himself, before at least three jumped over the counter and knocked him down. Others continued piling chairs on top of him as the three behind the counter punched and kicked him on the ground.

The 24-year-old was seen lying bloodied under a pile of chairs.

“Oh! They killing him!” one bystander screamed joyfully as he filmed the violent attack, screaming “woo!”

Per the New York Post:

The violent crew entered the burger joint on West 42nd Street near Seventh Avenue and assaulted a 24-year-old employee around 3 a.m. on Thursday, leaving him bloodied behind the counter, according to the NYPD.

The man sustained a laceration to his right arm in the assault, police said.

The NYPD said the havoc demonstrated the need for a stepped-up police presence ahead of the games.

No arrests have been made in the fast food chain assault, police said. Five Guys did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Matt Van Swol shared the clip on X, saying, “WHAT THE HELL?!!!!”

“WE DON’T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!” he added.

Even after the Knicks won the Finals in Game 5 last Saturday, chaos still erupted.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, violent mobs of tens of thousands took to the streets in a “fiery but mostly peaceful” celebration. Rioters torched school buses, destroyed police cars, attacked law enforcement, and shut down the streets.

Four stabbings were also reported across the city, and a 17-year-old boy was shot in the foot.
