Former U.S. President Donald Trump seated in an arena, visible through a cage-like barrier, attending a live event surrounded by spectators.

Despite reports that President Trump was smiling after UFC fighter Josh Hokit’s legendary “Michelle Obama is a man” line, Trump was actually seen on Sunday night removing the chain Hokit had given him moments earlier.

The left and even some Republicans are laughably losing it over Hokit’s comment.

But after all of the nasty attacks on Trump and his family, including attacks on First Lady Melania Trump, including accusations that Melania was complicit with Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes or a victim of his, who honestly cares that a UFC fighter called Michelle Obama a man– a statement that a large swath of the country legitimately believes in?

CNN had initially attempted to frame Trump’s reaction negatively, writing, “Trump was seen smiling briefly cage-side after UFC fighter Josh Hokit made a false and offensive remark about former first lady Michelle Obama during his post-fight speech.”

Who could blame him? Was he supposed to rage-quit and storm out like a triggered liberal?

“In a brief moment captured on camera, Trump, seated first row at the ‘Octagon,’ appeared to show a half-smile seconds after the false remark,” the report continued, further noting the incident where Trump briefly posted a Lion King meme that depicted various Democrats as Lion King characters, including Barack Obama as a monkey.

Notably, CNN reported its depiction of Trump’s reaction, conveniently leaving out Trump’s full reaction despite having the footage. Additionally, the New York Post’s Steven Nelson wrote to outlets in the White House pool report nearly an hour before CNN’s report that Trump removed the chain after Hokit’s remark about Michelle Obama.

Earlier, Hokit had given Trump his chain before he gave his post-fight interview, during which he roasted Michelle Obama.

During Hokit’s speech, Trump was seen batting Dana White’s hand away from the chain after Hokit praised Trump for “having the balls to put some sh*t like this on.”
