President Trump went off on ABC over its coverage of the Reflecting Pool renovations and refusal to mention the vandalism of the monument on Monday, warning that lawsuits are being drafted.

“I like their money, which will be given to the U.S. Treasury!” Trump said, warning of lawsuits “for false reporting.”

President Trump undertook the project to restore the filthy green water pond, which was built in the 1920s and has been marred by issues, including sinking and leaking into the swamp beneath.

Now, deranged liberals are tearing out the new American flag blue sealant that lines the bottom of the pool with the intention of giving the water a blue reflection.

Trump on Saturday blasted the lunatics for doing “everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed.” He further slammed “lightweight” ABC reporter Jonathan Karl for his reporting on the pool, where he reached into the water and grabbed the damaged sealant. Karl, Trump said, “was seen sticking his hand into the Pool, and trying to rip the rubber off of the surface.”

In a social media video on Friday, Karl attempted to troll Trump, highlighting the “astounding developments surrounding this project which the President, himself, has taken such a great interest in.”

“You remember $14 million was spent to drain this whole thing and to paint the bottom American flag blue,” Karl said. “As you can see, it’s all green now. They know that. They’re trying to kill the algae, but as they’re doing that, something else has happened,” he added, reaching into the water to grab the rubber sealant and celebrate the vandalism. Karl didn’t mention that deranged leftists are actually trying to rip the rubber out.

The vandals also inscribed “86 47,” calling for Trump’s death, on the grass of the National Mall and on the bottom of the Reflecting Pool in recent days.

“ABC FAKE NEWS, one of the worst in the business, even paying me $16,000,000 for past bad and inaccurate reporting, failed to report that their close ‘friends,’ Dumocrats Obama and Biden, spent over 100 Million Dollars on the Reflecting Pool, and it never worked,” Trump said on Monday.

In fact, it was rarely open due to leaks and “stench.” They wanted to spend 300 to 400 Million Dollars, but just let it ROT.

I spent approximately 16 Million Dollars, and it came out great, except for the Vandalism, which we are now fixing. It was also a much bigger job than originally envisioned, including the outer areas and sidewalks. We are preparing lawsuits against ABC for false reporting. Obama’s failed project in 2012, which had a massive cost of $34 million, more than twice what Trump is paying, left the pool flooded with algae and leaking a whopping 16 million gallons of water per year due to incompetence. Obama’s botched repairs took nearly two years to complete, while Trump’s repairs of Obama’s errors, replacing the leaky pool with industrial-grade leak-proof materials, are already finished after starting in April.

Trump went off on the liberal media in the Oval Office on Monday when they attempted to deny that vandalism of the pool is occurring.
