President Trump on Monday said that a 10-year prison sentence for the destruction of the newly renovated reflecting pool and grass on the National Mall will be “fully enforced,” threatening the left-wing vandals defacing the national monuments in DC. 

President Trump undertook the project to restore the filthy green water basin, built in the 1920s, which has been marred by issues, including sinking and leaking into the swamp beneath.

This is after Obama’s failed project in 2012, which had a massive cost of $34 million, more than twice what Trump is paying. Obama’s botched repairs took nearly two years to complete, while Trump’s are already finished after starting in April.

The beautiful reflecting pool was reopened with a glasslike reflection earlier this month, and TDS-infected residents of the far-left city of Washington, DC, are losing their minds over the beautification.

Now, deranged liberals are tearing out the new American flag blue sealant that lines the bottom of the pool with the intention of giving the water a blue reflection.

Leftists in DC have also inscribed “86 47,” calling for Trump’s death, on the grass of the National Mall and on the bottom of the Reflecting Pool in recent days.

Trump announced that the damages to the Reflecting Pool will be fixed “ASAP.”

“It has been given a 300 foot long gash, chemicals have been illegally placed in the water, and the beautiful new grass field has been destroyed with a gigantic 86 47 chemically carved into it (Probably inspired by Dirty Cop, James Comey!),” he said. “lease remember that there is a 10 year prison sentence for the destruction, or even the attempted destruction, of such things – Which will be fully enforced!”

Of the MANY Statues and Fountains that we rebuilt, renovated, cleaned, and fixed, the only one that was Vandalized was the Reflecting Pool, which is being taken care of, ASAP! Trump on Saturday also blasted the lunatics for doing “everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed.” He further slammed “lightweight” ABC reporter Jonathan Karl for his reporting on the pool, where he reached into the water and grabbed the damaged sealant. Karl, Trump said, “was seen sticking his hand into the Pool, and trying to rip the rubber off of the surface.”

In a social media video on Friday, Karl attempted to troll Trump, highlighting the “astounding developments surrounding this project which the President, himself, has taken such a great interest in.”

“You remember $14 million was spent to drain this whole thing and to paint the bottom American flag blue,” Karl said. “As you can see, it’s all green now. They know that. They’re trying to kill the algae, but as they’re doing that, something else has happened,” he added, reaching into the water to grab the rubber sealant and celebrate the vandalism. Karl didn’t mention that deranged leftists are actually trying to rip the rubber out.

Several people were arrested on Friday and Saturday for destroying the rubber sealant at the bottom of the pool and attempting to stop workers from clearing algae.

Included in the arrestees was former Olympian David Hearn, who was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor for destruction of property for vandalizing the Lincoln Reflecting Pool.
