FBI Director Kash Patel announced on Wednesday that the FBI is launching a “Most Wanted Fraudsters” list as the Department of Justice investigates criminal fraud rings across the country.

Patel credited Vice President JD Vance, the chairman of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, for the idea. “Mr. Vice President, thanks to your vision, we’re here to deliver, and you see it here today,” he said.

“I want all Americans to take a look at these most wanted individuals and look at the amounts, the 10s of millions and billions of dollars in fraud that they have decimated our societies from,” Patel continued, urging Americans to provide tips on the fraudsters’ whereabouts.

The list, which is now live on the FBI’s webpage, features eight wanted criminals accused of stealing nearly $1.3 billion combined. One of the wanted fraudsters, Herbert Leon Kimble, is accused of running a fraudulent healthcare enterprise that resulted in “more than $1.2 billion in Medicare charges and affected thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, many of whom were elderly victims.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, federal officials held a press conference in Ohio to announce new indictments against 14 Medicaid and COVID-19 relief fraudsters who stole over $50 million.

The indictments included one 32-count indictment against two state employees and two other co-conspirators for $30 million in fraudulent therapeutic behavioral services.
