Border Czar Tom Homan sounded the alarm Friday after revealing that the ICE agent involved in the fatal shooting of Renee Good is now receiving death threats after being doxxed, with credible fears for the safety of both himself and his family.

Homan made the chilling disclosure during an interview on The Dr. Phil Podcast hosted by Dr. Phil McGraw, where he forcefully pushed back against Democrats and local officials who have rushed to brand the shooting a “murder” before any investigation has concluded.

The incident occurred during a chaotic, hostile protest in Minneapolis, when the ICE agent made a split-second decision and fatally shot 37-year-old activist Renee Good after she drove her SUV directly at him, turning the vehicle into a deadly weapon.

“I want everyone to step back and stop pouring gas on the fire that I truly believe is going to cause more bloodshed,” Homan said.

“I’m begging, I’m begging, tone down the rhetoric. In my career, I’ve buried border patrol agents, I’ve buried ICE agents, and the saddest thing I’ve ever had to do is hand a folded flag to a spouse or a child. I don’t want to see anybody die. Anybody.”

Homan confirmed that he personally spoke with the officer involved moments before going on air and flatly rejected the left-wing narrative that the agent is “sitting around feeling comfortable.”

Tom Homan: My concern right now—and I talked to the officer involved—and everybody thinks he’s sitting around feeling comfortable. He’s not.

Dr. Phil: You talked to him just minutes ago. Just as we were sitting down here, you stepped into another room and spoke with the officer. What did he say? How is he doing?

Tom Homan: He’s concerned. I’ve seen his face all over social media today. He’s been doxed.

Dr. Phil: People are threatening to kill him.

Tom Homan: So he’s not good. He fears for himself and his family.

Dr. Phil: And again, let the investigation play out.

Tom Homan: Before you say you want to execute this man, let the investigation play out. Like I said, there have got to be 100 videos out there. There’s going to be witness testimony and body-cam footage. Let’s decrease the temperature here. But this officer is not in a good spot emotionally—for his family.

Dr. Phil: Is he upset about what took place?

Tom Homan: Of course he is. I mean, any law enforcement officer who uses any—look, I’ve been around a long time—even less-lethal force. If you have to put hands on somebody and take them down, it affects you. I’ve never used lethal force, personally. I can only imagine. Based on my 40-plus years, I’ve never met an officer who had to use lethal force who felt good about it. It’s a terrible, terrible thing to go through.

WATCH:

This isn’t the first time the agent has been put through hell by criminals and activists. Just six months ago, in June 2025, the agent was seriously injured while trying to arrest a dangerous suspect in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The thug dragged him for 100 yards with a vehicle, leaving him with horrific lacerations that required 33 stitches. Federal officials have pointed to this traumatic incident as a factor in the agent’s state of mind during the recent shooting.

The Minnesota Star Tribune was the first major outlet to publish the name. The Star Tribune defended its decision to name him, stating that as a government employee involved in a high-profile fatal shooting, his identity was a matter of public interest.

Prayers for the officer and his family.
