President Trump’s latest construction project in Washington, DC, has Democrats’ heads exploding once again, this time over his renovation of the Kennedy Center with new signage that reads, “The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.”

The newly named Trump Kennedy Center, formerly the Kennedy Center, posted an X video of the renovation on Friday, commenting, “Today, we proudly unveil the updated exterior designation—honoring the leadership of President Donald J. Trump and the enduring legacy of John F. Kennedy.”

This comes after the Board of Trustees voted unanimously to rename the center. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared the news on X on Thursday, crediting the move to “the unbelievable work President Trump has done over the last year in saving the building.”

Leavitt: I have just been informed that the highly respected Board of the Kennedy Center, some of the most successful people from all parts of the world, have just voted unanimously to rename the Kennedy Center to the Trump-Kennedy Center, because of the unbelievable work President Trump has done over the last year in saving the building. Not only from the standpoint of its reconstruction, but also financially, and its reputation. Congratulations to President Donald J. Trump, and likewise, congratulations to President Kennedy, because this will be a truly great team long into the future! The building will no doubt attain new levels of success and grandeur.

President Trump told reporters on Thursday that he was “surprised” and “honored” that the “very distinguished board” voted unanimously to rename the center in honor of both Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy.

“We saved the building. The building was in such bad shape, both physically, financially, and every other way, and now it’s very solid, very strong,” he said.

However, critics of the President claim that the change was made in violation of US law, naming the center in honor of President Kennedy.

On Friday, former CNN White House correspondent and Trump hater Jim Acosta lost it, reporting from what he referred to as “the scene of yet another crime committed by Donald Trump,” calling Trump a “vandal.” The far-left crank further declared, “We the sane, rational American people are not going to go along with that,” while also pointing to Trump’s changes of the Gulf of America, formerly the Gulf of Mexico, and the Department of War, formerly the Department of Defense.

Acosta: Here we are at the scene of yet another crime committed by Donald Trump. He has vandalized the Kennedy Center by putting his name on it, and he just needs to understand that, first of all, he can’t do this single-handedly. Only Congress can authorize a change of name to the Kennedy Center. But yet, he doesn’t care about the law. He doesn’t care what is appropriate. He’s gone and vandalized the Kennedy Center, which is— we should note, the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts, it was named after President Kennedy after he was assassinated.

Donald Trump should show some respect for that. But of course, he doesn’t do that. And you know, this is what needs to be said: We, the American people, are not going to call the Kennedy Center, the Trump-Kennedy Center, just like we’re not going to call the Department of Defense the Department of War, or the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. We the sane, rational American people are not going to go along with that. So Trump can act like a child. He can be a vandal, put his name up on all of these buildings, but it’s not going to change what the rest of us do in response to what has been a childish and lawless administration.

And on Friday evening, the CNN panel also crashed out, with Scott Jennings defending the move as his co-host compared it to Obama putting his name on the Lincoln Memorial.

Stacy Schneider, an ex-Apprentice contestant, stammered, “It’s gross, absolutely gross, unnecessary, gross, and it’s all– we don’t need it!” She further called it “disgusting” and cried, “They’re drilling holes into the walls, the pristine white walls of the Kennedy Center!”

“It would exhaust me to be as outraged!” Jennings responded while bursting into laughter. The TDS-crazed lunatic fired back, “Well, I only wish you could be as exhausted as I am!”
