Since President Trump sealed the border after resuming office in January, illegal crossings have gone down significantly.

The previous four years under the Biden regime created a very chaotic situation for the US, considering there were an estimated 15 million illegals who entered the country.

Law enforcement agencies like the Texas DPS have worked tirelessly to arrest human smugglers and capture illegal aliens, which they have given over to the Border Patrol.

The DPS pursued a human smuggler on a high-speed chase in late November, driving a van with 10 illegals locked inside, in Webb County. Juan Antonio Aleman, who was from Laredo, tried to evade the troopers by driving dangerously through the streets, but eventually stopped and was arrested.

Aleman told law enforcement that he was going to be paid $2,000 for smuggling. The ten illegals were handed over to the Border Patrol.

He was charged with 10 counts of human smuggling and evading arrest.

Last week, TGP reported of another high-speed chase that the DPS had with a human smuggler. The vehicle hit a commercial truck, but no major injuries were reported. The driver along with an accomplice was arrested and the illegals were handed over to the Border Patrol.
