‘I’m Going To Die’: Bondi Beach Hero, Who Tackled One of the Shooters and Disarmed Him, Said: ‘Tell My Family I Saved People’s Lives’ – Was Shot 3 Times and Is Hospitalized | The Gateway Pundit | by Paul Serran
Ahmed El Ahmed does the unthinkable, and tackles one of the shooters.
It’s never lightheartedly that we call someone a hero.
But there are men and women who, when the call comes, look death in the eye in the service of others.
When two Muslim terrorists opened fire at the Bondi Beach Hanukkah party, chaos ensued, and people fled for their lives.
But there was one fruit shopkeeper who ran to the very heart of danger, and tackled one of the shooters, disarming him, before being shot three times by the other terrorist.
The Telegraph reported:
“A hero who disarmed one of the two gunmen at Bondi Beach told his cousin he thought he was going to die before taking on the attacker.
Ahmed al-Ahmed, a Syrian national who served in the police, said: ‘I’m going to die … tell my family I saved people’s lives’, before he charged at one of the shooters and wrestled away his rifle.”

“Mr. al-Ahmad, a 43-year-old father of two, remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition after undergoing surgery for multiple gunshot wounds.
[…] Mr. al-Ahmed’s father said his son served ‘with the police and under central security forces’ and had ‘the impulse to protect people’. It was not clear if he had served in the police in Syria or in Australia. […] When he saw people lying on the ground and the blood everywhere, immediately his conscience and his soul compelled him to pounce on one of the terrorists. I feel proud and honored, because my son is a hero of Australia.”
There’s no denying that this tragedy is the direct result of Australia’s failed immigration policies.
But in the middle of the death and panic, one unlikely hero stepped into the fire – and we celebrate him.
This is the verified link for the Bondi hero. I am told by @gofundme that the funds will only be released directly to the hero. https://t.co/2sc5Z1Vut1
