OUTRAGEOUS: Woke Nashville Judges Demand “Heightened Security” After Being Called Out for Releasing Migrant Criminal — Attack Rep. Andy Ogles While Ignoring Brutal Rape and Murder of Young Woman | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hᴏft

The judges of the Davidson County General Sessions Court have launched a full-scale PR panic, issuing formal letters and a public statement after Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) called out the court’s catastrophic failure that led to the horrific rape and death of a young Nashville woman, a crime committed by a “dangerous migrant criminal” who had been released more than a dozen times under their watch.

Instead of apologizing to the victim’s family, instead of taking responsibility, instead of acknowledging the deadly consequences of their open-borders judicial philosophy, the judges are now attacking Congressman Ogles and demanding heightened security at the courthouse.

Their complaint? Ogles posted the truth and warned Tennesseans that, “we are at war” with woke officials whose soft-on-crime extremism is killing innocent people.

The judges immediately rushed to portray themselves as victims.

On December 5, Rep. Andy Ogles publicly released the photos and names of multiple Davidson County General Sessions Court judges in posts on Facebook and in a thread on X.

His message referenced a brutal case in which Mohamed Mohamed was arrested for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman near a church in Nashville’s Woodbine neighborhood back in August.

Ogles asserted that the suspect had been taken into custody “more than a dozen times,” yet every single one of those cases had been dismissed by the very judges he called out.

Ogles wrote on X:

Meet Muhammad A. Muhammad. He was recently caught allegedly RAPING a woman on the steps of a church on Nolensville Road in Nashville. He is a Somali migrant let in by Obama.

Not only has this man been arrested over a dozen times, but he has had every case, from drugs to indecent exposure to criminal trespass, dismissed.

Every judge and prosecutor who let him off the hook was a DEMOCRAT. As long as local liberals are running things in Middle Tennessee, we are at war. The state should impeach all of the judges. Send the guard to Nashville.

In their official statement, the General Sessions Court judges accused Ogles of “inciting violence” and argued that his criticism of their decisions is “dangerous rhetoric.”

But they never once acknowledged the real danger: the violent predator they repeatedly released back into the community, who then raped a woman to death.

According to their statement:

The Judges of the Davidson County General Sessions Court today announced that they have directed Justice A.A. Birch Courthouse Security to heighten security measures following remarks by Congressman Andy Ogles that appeared intended to incite violence against elected officials in Davidson County.

Over the weekend, Congressman Ogles posted on social media that “we are at war” with elected officials in Middle Tennessee and included photographs of several Davidson County General Sessions Court Judges.

“We stand united in condemning any language or actions that target Judges—or any elected officials-with threats of violence as a means of expressing political disagreement.

In light of the numerous acts of political violence witnessed in recent years, the statements made by Mr. Ogles are unacceptable.

His choice to employ rhetoric invoking violence, even for political grandstanding, carries real and dangerous consequences. Our foremost responsibility is to ensure that courthouse employees and every member of the public entering the Birch Building are safe and can access the justice system without fear of becoming casualties in what Mr. Ogles has described as a ‘war’ on elected officials.

Anyone interpreting his inflammatory remarks as a call to action would be gravely mistaken.”

In addition to increased security vigilance within the Birch Complex, the Judges of the Davidson County General Sessions Courts have formally requested the assistance of Governor Bill Lee to help ensure the public’s continued confidence in their safety.

Additionally, Kyle P. Sowell, Court Administrator for the Davidson County General Sessions Court, sent a letter to Gov. Bill Lee’s office requesting that the state “take immediate steps to ensure the safety and security of the public in and around the Justice A.A. Birch Courthouse.”

According to the letter:

Congressman Ogles’ irresponsible use of the phrase “we are at war,” accompanied by the posting of individual photographs of General Sessions Court Judges, places those Judges-and, importantly, courthouse staff and the general public conducting business within the Birch Building—at heightened risk.

As you are aware, incidents of political violence across the United States have increased at an alarming rate in recent years. The reckless use of violent rhetoric, such as that employed by Mr. Ogles, can embolden the most extreme elements and lead to tragic consequences.

On behalf of the courthouse personnel who serve diligently each day to ensure the fair administration of justice, and on behalf of the members of the public who deserve the assurance that they may safely access their public institutions without fear or intimidation, we urge the State to take appropriate action to counter the dangerous and inflammatory rhetoric issued by Mr. Ogles.

Tennessee must not become the site of the next preventable tragedy.

In a blistering statement posted Tuesday, Ogles accused the judges of prioritizing their public image over the lives of innocent Tennesseans:

WOKE NASHVILLE JUDGE UPDATE

Instead of apologizing to the family of that young woman who was raped to death, instead of apologizing to the people of Nashville, these judges have the gall to publicly complain about my oversight and call it ‘dangerous rhetoric.’

A woman was raped and is now dead because of woke policies, and those on the Davidson County General Sessions Court who let off a dangerous migrant criminal more than twelve times.

These judges are asking Governor Lee to give them heightened security because they feel threatened by my comments. Where were these Judges when she was being raped? Where were they when she lay dying? Do they care at all about the safety of my constituents? Doubtful.
