A 25-year-old far-left rioter named Jihad Dphrepaulezz has been arrested and charged with assault and robbery following a violent assault outside a Turning Point USA event at the University of California, Berkeley, on Monday.

The suspect was captured on video allegedly assaulting and ripping a necklace off a TPUSA attendee’s neck, leaving the victim bloodied and sparking a street fight.

As conservative activists lined up for the event, Antifa rioters unleashed mayhem by lighting flares, hurling fireworks, tear gas, and glass bottles, and trying to smash through police barricades to shut it down.

Amid the pandemonium, footage shot by TPUSA Frontlines reporter Savanah Hernandez showed Dphrepaulezz, a self-proclaimed rapper going by “AR The Believer,” snatching the chain.

The victim, refusing to let the thief get away, pursued Dphrepaulezz into the street, where a brutal scuffle ensued.

Video shows the two men grappling violently, with the attendee ending up on the ground, covered in blood from his injuries.

As he lay there, another bystander seemingly heckled him with racial taunts, including, “What happened, white boy? Hey white boy, what the f*ck happened?” Police quickly detained the heckler, but released him after determining he was actually trying to retrieve the stolen necklace from Dphrepaulezz.

“Officers determined that one of the men—Jihad Dphrepaulezz … had stolen the other man’s chain from around his neck. The other man was attempting to get his chain back from Dphrepaulezz,” a Berkeley Police Department spokesperson told The New York Post.

According to his LinkedIn account, Dphrepaulezz works for the California Department of Public Health.

“Despite Antifa thugs blocking our campus tour stop with tear gas, fireworks, and glass bottles, we had a PACKED HOUSE in the heart of deep blue UC Berkeley,” TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet wrote in a post following the event.
