Comedian and podcaster Adam Carolla tore into Democrats and the media during a recent episode of his show, accusing them of continuing to push lies about January 6th, 2021.

Carolla was prompted to talk about this because of the controversy surrounding the BBC, which is now being sued by Trump for doctoring video footage from J6 in order to push an anti-Trump narrative.

He correctly notes that whenever supposed ‘mistakes’ like this are made by the media, it always goes in only one direction.

The Daily Caller has details:

“I love the fact that they cook videos to only be negative against Trump all the time, but they’re not biased … It’s just that’s the way it always turns out,” Carolla said. “You’re an umpire who calls balls and strikes until your son is pitching and then ones in the dirt are called strikes. But you’re not biased. You’re a good umpire. You just got a few bad calls in there. But you never call a strike a ball when your son is pitching. It’s only one direction all the time.”…

Moreover, Carolla criticized comparisons of the Capitol riot to Pearl Harbor and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

“Let’s just call it the description around January 6 as our democracy was hanging in the balance in the midst of a full-blown insurrection insurrection … let’s just say I took a founding father and I reanimated him and I said to George Washington, I go, ‘Look, we’re gonna have a situation in the future where there’s an insurrection.’” he said. “And he’s like, ‘An insurrection?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah. An armed insurrection.’”…

Carolla argued that Pearl Harbor and Sept. 11, 2021, were starkly different from the Capitol riot because of the number of Americans killed and the levels of destruction. He suggested if the riot was actually comparable, it would not be necessary to “cook it and pat it all the time.”

Democrats and the media will not let go of this narrative until it is no longer useful to them. It’s as predictable as the setting sun.
