ICE agents to attend Miami's Club World Cup matches as ticket prices plummet
THE Club World Cup is off to a dreadful start with ticket prices plummeting for the early games.
Tickets for the opening game in Miami started at around $350 but fell as low as $20 ahead of game time.

The announcement that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would be present at the games in Miami appears to have been a primary driver of the price drop.
"Let the games begin," the government agency said in a now-deleted Facebook post.

The agency told Miami NBC affiliate WTVJ that all non-American citizens need to carry proof of their legal status.
On top of that, a spokesperson for ICE released a statement to the Miami Herald.
"As is customary for an event of this magnitude with national security implications, ICE will be working alongside our Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice partners to help ensure the safety and security of the event," the statement read.
Ticket prices had already been dropping for the event, but there was a drastic decline after the news came of ICE's involvement.
Some fans went so far as to sell their tickets out of fear of the government agency.
