Putin’s £20billion quest to live forever from deer blood baths & mutant strawberries to ‘Frankenstein’ lair experiments
VLADIMIR Putin is attempting to launch another war – this time with death itself.
The ageing tyrant, 73, is trying to achieve immortality through a £20billion plan involving his daughter, printed pig’s organs, a secretive mountain lair and mutant “youth-extending” strawberries.
Putin, who believes in rejuvenating deer blood baths, has ordered state scientists and doctors to make human longevity a national priority.
In September 2025, Putin and his two despot pals Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un were caught on a hot mic publicly discussing immortality.

The twisted trio were filmed discussing how biotechnology could result in humans living up to 150 in the near future.
A disturbed Putin even chimed in saying repeated organ transplants could let us “perhaps even achieve immortality”.

The blood-tingling audio has now become a serious endeavour for the Kremlin.
Back in April, Russia’s government announced its scientists are developing a gene-therapy treatment aimed at slowing cellular aging.
Moscow opened up a department dubbed “New Health Preservation Technologies” and pumped it with £20billion, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The drug “represents one of the most promising avenues in the fight against aging,” Deputy Science Minister Denis Sekirinsky declared.

Sir Richard Dearlove OBE, a retired British intelligence officer and head of MI6 during the invasion of Iraq, called Putin’s ambitions to live forever “faintly ridiculous”.
He told The Sun: “It’s a wonderful illusion. I mean lots of people in powerful positions would like to be there indefinitely.
“But there’s something faintly ridiculous about Putin having these sort of thoughts.
“The idea that he’s gonna cheat death? Forget it. The fact is he’s mortal.”
Putin’s drive for eternal life “totally obsesses him”, a veteran Western diplomat added.
Now The Sun can reveal Putin has created secretive laboratories hidden under the towering Caucasus Mountains which are reportedly the key to the despot’s dream of immortality.
A closely-guarded headquarters, roughly the size of Heathrow Airport, the Sirius University of Science and Technology sits on the edge of Black Sea resort Sochi.
Putin, 74 in October, is a regular visitor to this elite nerve centre which he founded.
On the surface, Sirius is made up of a science and technology university and a top boarding school for Russia’s most gifted children.
But it is also believed to have hidden clandestine laboratories dedicated to gene manipulation and anti-ageing, with boffins paid high salaries to make high-speed breakthroughs.
How Putin is trying to live forever
INVESTIGATIVE journalist and historian Ilya Davlyatchin believes that Putin – in all seriousness – is aiming to stay active as Russia’s leader at least until the age of 97.
“This is the year 2050,” he said.
“It’s simple – then his eldest son Ivan will turn 35, the age when one can be elected to the [Russian] presidential post.”
Ivan — who has never been seen by Russians — is now only 11.
No detail is too small for Putin in his hunt for the elixir of youth as he regularly undergoes tough tactics to extend his life.
His network of lavish palaces – including a demolished £100m pile in Crimea thanks to Ukraine’s killer drones – all include fully equipped hospital wings and cryotherapy chambers designed for the dictator.
The same applies to at least one of his ocean-going armada of luxury super yachts.
Putin once revealed to a shocked Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz that he regularly strips naked and exposes himself to extreme cold – up to -140°C for two to four minutes.
Anti-corruption campaigner Maria Pevchikh – close ally of murdered Putin foe Alexei Navalny – revealed the Cape Aya “cold sauna” in Crimea, cost £382,000.
“He has similar ones in [his palaces in] Gelendzhik, Valdai, Krasnaya Polyana, and even on his yacht, Scheherazade,” she said.
Russian state scientists have so far focused on two key technologies to help achieve long-life.
The first being bioprinting, or 3D-printing living tissue.
This work is all overseen by Professor Yevgeny Rogaev, 65, who promises to save 175,000 lives by 2030 thanks to anti-ageing technology.
The second is growing human organs in animals such as mini-pigs, so far only the porcine breed, as they are deemed genetically compatible to humans.
Well-funded research also includes examining naked mole rats with a resistance to cancer and other animals like toothed whales, sables and immortal jellyfish.
Russian scientists working with Putin’s government agencies even claim to have bioprinted human cartilage tissue and a mouse thyroid gland.
They hope to achieve complete human organ replacement by 2030.
Putin has even been creating “youth-extending” strawberries at Sirius.
Late last year, he inspected the genetically-altered fruit which reportedly contain a dozen times the normal level of quercetin – an antioxidant seen as having anti-ageing properties.
At another palace, deep in the Altai Mountains of Siberia, Putin reportedly partakes in the ancient ritual of bathing in blood from maral deer.
He believes it will boost his testosterone to help both his sexual potency and long, happy life.
Telegram channel “More Than Fact” said back in 2025: “Putin’s Altai Courtyard recreation centre is where he takes baths in the blood of young maral [deer] to improve his health, prolong his life, and give him strength.”
There remains no evidence that deer blood has any healing or de-aging effect.
Russia’s longevity initiative is being spearheaded by two people – including a member of Putin’s own family.
His daughter Maria Vorontsova, an endocrinologist overseeing state-backed genetics programs.
And physicist Mikhail Kovalchuk, head of the Kurchatov Institute, is also involved.
Kovalchuk has long argued science will soon allow humans to repair and replace body parts indefinitely.
He recently told Russian media: “It is difficult to discuss immortality, but the ability to repair man will undoubtedly increase.”
One source told The Sun that Kovalchuk is often regarded as “mad” for suggesting life-enhancing breakthroughs will come in time for Putin.
Investigative journalist Svetlana Reiter who has studied Putin’s drive for everlasting life said: “In reality, it’s more likely his manic fear of death, and Kovalchuk and others are selling him recipes for how not to die.”
Another influence on Putin’s immortality hopes is Vladimir Khavinson, a man dubbed “Putin’s gerontologist”.
The gerontologist, a person who studies the biological, psychological, and social aspects of aging, is best known in Moscow for promoting peptide-based anti-ageing therapies using calf tissue.
Khavinson once received one of Russia’s highest state awards from Putin for achievements in medicine.
It came shortly after he argued humans were meant to live to 120 years, citing biblical scripture. He died when he was 77-years-old.
When asked if Putin would ever reveal to the world that he had cured ageing, should by miracle he achieve such a feat, Sir Richard was clear.
“I would have thought in Putin’s case that he’d try to keep it isolated within a restricted group of people in Russia,” he said.
“Russia is effectively conducting grey warfare with the West so Putin may not be keen to share a major scientific discovery.”
Putin’s fixation on living well into his 100s is believed to have first started when he was a teenager, after watching Soviet film Dead Season.
The 1968 flick told the story of CIA agents working with Nazi doctors to try and control humanity through medical experiments.
Political foes said Putin is often hidden from the public when he suffers with serious health issues.
Richard has speculated for years that the ageing tyrant shows all the signs of a man suffering from Parkinson’s.
On the rare occasions where the despot has been filmed struggling, he has sported a swollen face, trembling legs and even purple hands.
This has fuelled speculation he is always flanked by a team of top medics at all public events in case he begins to struggle.
A paranoid and sickly Vlad is even kept under surveillance by four doctors at all times when he is at home, according to shocking leaked documents.
Richard said: “I think what is interesting about Putin is the rumours that he has a private clinic-level team wherever he lives – so clearly the issue of his health is a major problem.
“All I would say is if the man was healthy, would he be quite so neurotic about having a medical team on tap close to him all the time?”
It comes as Russian scientists working closely on the Kremlin’s secret plans alleged they were forced to hand over all details of their latest research in fighting ageing.
An informer revealed: “We were asked to urgently send all our developments.”
This included work on reducing cell deterioration.
