According to a video obtained by the outlet, Busfield insisted, “I did not do anything to those little boys,” and called the claims “lies.”
“I’m sure most of you know, that are watching this, that I was ordered to come to Albuquerque,” he said in the clip.
“I’m here now. I got the call Friday night, I had to get a lawyer. Saturday I got in the car, drove 2,000 miles to Albuquerque. I’m gonna confront these lies. They’re horrible.
“They’re all lies and I did not do anything to those little boys and I’m gonna fight it. I’m gonna fight it with a great team, and I’m gonna be exonerated, I know I am, because this is all so wrong and all lies.”

SHOCKING CLAIMS
A warrant was issued on January 4 for the star, whose location was unknown for several days after the allegations went public.
Officials in New Mexico claimed the boys were groomed on the set of The Cleaning Lady – a show where Busfield worked as a director.
According to a copy of the warrant obtained by The U.S. Sun, Busfield touched one boy three times when he was seven.
Then the screen star touched him five or six times when the boy was eight.

The child reportedly didn’t tell anyone about the alleged abuse because he feared Busfield would get mad at him.
The alleged victim claimed he was afraid to report the abuse.
He was worried that “Tim” would get mad at him.
A second boy claimed Busfield inappropriately touched him over two years he worked on the set of The Cleaning Lady, which aired for four years on Fox, ending in 2025.
The alleged abuse took place between November 2022 and spring 2024.
The boys’ mom reported it to social services in October 2025.
Busfield allegedly told cops it was “highly likely” he had some sort of “physical contact” with the children.
“I don’t remember those boys,” he said, according to the affidavit.
“No, I don’t. I don’t actually, I don’t remember it, if it happened.
“I don’t remember overtly tickling the boys ever, but it wouldn’t be uncommon for me.”
HEALTH AND SAFETY ‘TOP PRIORITY’
Fox and Warner Bros officials have spoken out amid the probe.
“The health and safety of our cast and crew is always our top priority, especially the safety of minors on our productions,” they said.
“We take all allegations of misconduct very seriously and have systems in place to promptly and thoroughly investigate and, when needed, take appropriate action.”
Busfield has more than 700 credits as an actor, director and producer to his name.
He won an Emmy for his role as Elliot Weston on Thirtysomething in 1991.
He starred as Danny Concannon in several series of the West Wing.
Busfield played Poindexter in the 1984 movie Revenge of the Nerds, and starred alongside Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones in the 1989 movie Field of Dreams.
The actor and director tied the knot with actress Melissa Gilbert in 2013.
