Ghislaine Maxwell was asked in an email sent by “A” at Balmoral whether she had any “new inappropriate friends”.
The email, which was released in the latest tranche of Jeffrey Epstein documents by Donald Trump’s justice department, was sent in August 2001 and signed off as “Axxx”.
“I am up here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family,” they continued before describing themselves as “totally exhausted” and asking Maxwell how she was.
They then wrote: “How’s LA? Have you found me some new inappropriate friends? Let me know when you are coming over as I am free from 25th August until 2nd Sept and want to go somewhere hot and sunny with some fun people before having to put my nose firmly to the grindstone for the Fall”.
They added: “Any ideas gratefully received! See ya A xxx”.
“A” later told Maxwell he was “distraught” that she could only find them “appropriate friends”.
Two days later, “A” then wrote back, “Distraught!” before describing how they had lost their valet and how their “whole life” was in “turmoil”.
“You probably wouldn’t know but I lost my valet on Thursday,” they wrote. “He died in his sleep. He had been with me since I was two.
“I am a little off balance as not only has my office been restructured, I have left the RN and now my whole life is in turmoil as I have no one to look after me.
“He was a real rock and almost a part of the family.”
The Telegraph has not verified whether the emails were sent by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Mark Epstein has long suggested that his brother did not die by suicide but was murdered in prison.
He has hinted that Donald Trump and his administration may have been involved, without presenting evidence.
In the latest document release, an FBI agent reports that Mark Epstein submitted an online tip to the National Threat Operation Centre on the 22nd February 2023.
The deceased paedophile’s brother claimed by text: “I have reason to believe he [Epstein] was killed because he was about to name names. I believe Presient [sic] Trump authorized is [sic] murder.”
The president has repeatedly denied any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.

Donald Trump flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane “more times than previously has been reported”, including one journey with a 20-year-old woman, newly released files suggest.
Documents released overnight by the Justice Department mention the US president hundreds of times, including references to Epstein’s private jet.
A note from a New York assistant US attorney states: “For your situational awareness, wanted to let you know that the flight records we received yesterday reflect that Donald Trump travelled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware), including during the period we would expect to charge in a Maxwell case.”
The email states that Mr Trump was listed as a passenger on eight flights between 1993 and 1996, including four where Epstein was present.
