Trump endorses Rep. Barry Moore in Alabama GOP Senate primary

President Donald Trump reiterated his endorsement of Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) for the Alabama Senate seat on Friday as Moore faces a challenging runoff primary election against former Navy SEAL sniper Jared Hudson this coming Tuesday.
The Senate seat is open for the midterm elections as Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) moves forward as the Republican nominee for the Alabama gubernatorial election. Moore is a freshman member of the conservative Freedom Caucus and a loyal Trump supporter, while Hudson served as a Sherriff’s deputy after leaving the military and now heads a nonprofit training law enforcement on targeting human traffickers.
“Congressman Barry Moore, an America First Patriot, and friend, who has been with me from the very beginning (he was the first Elected Official in the Country to Endorse me!), is running for the United States Senate in Alabama, a place I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024, getting the highest vote in that great State’s history,” Trump wrote.
“Barry Moore is a good friend, fighter, and WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next United States Senator from Alabama — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!” the president concluded the message.
