Israel Hits Major Oil Depot Near Iranian Capital, Targets Defense Ministry
The Shahran oil depot near Tehran was targeted in an Israeli attack on Saturday night, sources confirmed to The Jerusalem Post.
Targets in Saturday night’s attacks on Tehran included not only an oil facility, but also sites associated with Iran’s nuclear program and command and control centers.
Iran’s Tasnim agency reported that Israel targeted the headquarters of Iran’s Defense Ministry in the capital, which the IDF later confirmed.
The IAF had completed a series of intelligence-based strikes on targets in Tehran, the IDF announced.
They targeted the Iranian Defense Ministry, the headquarters of the SPND nuclear project, and other targets.
