Spencer Pratt appeared to take a swipe at Los Angeles’ prolonged vote-counting process Thursday, after his early election-night lead in the mayoral race vanished as additional mail ballots were tallied.

“Are they done counting yet?” Pratt, a Republican, wrote on X.

The former reality television star, who was endorsed by President Donald Trump, initially led on election night and outperformed many political observers’ expectations.

However, his advantage narrowed as additional mail-in ballots were counted in the days following the election.

Los Angeles City Councilwoman Nithya Raman, a Democrat, has since opened a lead of more than 40,000 votes and is set to advance to a November runoff against incumbent Democrat Mayor Karen Bass.

Pratt has not directly addressed the outcome of the race since it was called.
