Raman within 2 points of Pratt in LA mayoral vote count

Los Angeles Councilmember Nithya Raman, a Democrat, has gained on former reality star and Republican mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt in the race for Los Angeles’s top job, according to Decision Desk HQ.
On Sunday evening, Raman was in third for the race behind Pratt and current mayor Karen Bass (D), per DDHQ, sitting at 26.21 percent of the vote. Pratt was at 27.32 percent of the vote and Bass, who has clinched her position in the general election, was at 34.81 percent of the vote.
Pratt was leading Raman last week, garnering 30 percent of the vote to Raman’s 22 percent on Wednesday morning. Within the last four days, Raman has narrowed the 8-point gap to a little over 1 percent.
In the case that nobody in the race locks down over 50 percent of the vote, the top two candidates will move onto November.
“Remember everyone…we are still in the lead, and we’ve got allllllll the way til July 6th to keep counting. They’re not the only ones who know where to find votes,” Pratt wrote in a post on the social platform X on Sunday.
