Maine Senate Candidate Graham Platner abruptly cancels campaign events

Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner has abruptly canceled several campaign events for unclear reasoning.
Among the events canceled were town hall events in Gorham and Sanford, Maine, both set for Monday evening, according to the Maine Wire.
Several volunteer events remain active on Mobilize, though the candidate’s own events are not listed.
The development comes as rumors swirl that Platner may face yet another scandal, after a barrage of media coverage of his past Reddit posts and Totenkopf tattoo, have rocked his campaign.
Platner is running against Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine. He previously defeated Gov. Janet Mills, D-Maine, for the party’s Senate nomination.
