The price of oil, after trading flat all morning, sharply rose 2% after Trump wrote on Truth Social that Iran has been too slow to negotiate a deal to end the war and will “pay the price.”

U.S. crude oil rose past $90, while international Brent rose to more than $93 per barrel.
