Maryland finally removes notorious illegal alien from its voter rolls

The state of Maryland has finally removed from its voter rolls an illegal immigrant from Guyana who grabbed national headlines last year over scamming multiple school systems into hiring him as an administrator for several years.
The state removed Ian Andre Roberts on June 2, just days after he was sentenced to two years in federal prison for lying about his citizenship in order to become a school superintendent in Iowa and for being an illegal immigrant in possession of guns.
Maryland had resisted calls to boot Roberts and had refused to confirm that the Ian Andre Roberts on its rolls was the illegal immigrant at the center of the national headline-making case. But the state now appears to agree that Roberts is that same man.
The state’s voter file on Roberts now includes the federal court judgment sentencing him to prison for gun possession and false citizenship claims.
The Washington Times obtained access to the documents under an open-records request filed with the Maryland State Board of Elections.
