Man crushed to death in freak accident at McDonald's drive-through
A driver was crushed to death in a freak accident at a McDonald’s drive-through as he reached for the payment window.
Michael Dickinson, 69, was pinned between his car and the side of the building in Grand Island, Nebraska, about 10.30am on Tuesday.
He was rushed to St Francis Hospital but did not survive.
Grand Island Police Division Chief Dean Elliott said Dickinson’s death was a freak accident.
‘It appears the deceased opened the door to further reach out the window for payment purposes.’ he said.
