Kennedy Center selling rooftop July 4 tickets for up to $25,000

The Kennedy Center sold out of tickets to watch the Fourth of July fireworks from its rooftop terrace, including a ticket package at $25,000.

The event starts at 8 p.m. and ends after the fireworks display.

The performing arts institution offered multiple ticket packages. The top tiers included “prominent on-site signage” and being listed as a sponsor for “Fireworks on the Fourth,” the Kennedy Center said on its website.

The most expensive tier was the “Presidential” package, offering tickets for up to 36 people and three “premier reserved tables” on the terrace for $25,000, with more than $18,000 of it being tax-deductible.

The second most expensive tier, the “Vice Presidential” package, offered tickets for up to 24 and two reserved tables. It cost $15,000, over $10,000 of it being tax-deductible.

The third most expensive tier, the “Statesman” package, included tickets for up to 12 people and one reserved table, costing $7,500, of which over $5,400 is tax-deductible, the Kennedy Center said.
