Karoline Leavitt holds press briefing after maternity leave

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is holding her first press briefing on Thursday since returning from maternity leave.
In April, Leavitt left to prepare for the birth of her second child, Viviana. She resumed some work duties in late June before returning to helm the White House press briefings full-time.
Reporters will likely ask her questions about the Iran war and President Donald Trump’s primetime speech to the nation Thursday evening, among other issues. Trump is expected to speak on election integrity.
The press conference is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
