Colorado community mourns death of mayor
A small Colorado town is mourning the untimely death of their mayor.
In a brief statement on its website, the town announced Mayor Theresa Howard had passed away.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved and esteemed mayor, Theresa Howard,” the statement read. “We honor her and her dedicated service to the Town of Kiowa. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
No information on Howard’s cause of death has been released.
