Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Miami just moments before he was due to host a bareknuckle boxing event, it has emerged.

The Tates were taken into custody by US Marshals outside of the James L Knight Center on Saturday afternoon.

The brothers were arrested on an extradition request from the UK, where they are facing a combined 59 charges, including rape and human trafficking.

The pending charges in the UK accuse Andrew, 39, and Tristan, 37, of abusing women between 2012 and 2015 in an area north of London, where they grew up.

The brothers have strongly denied any wrongdoing.

The Tates will be processed at the federal courthouse in Miami on Monday, a Justice Department source told the Daily Mail. The DOJ will also unseal the indictment against them.
