1M+ ovens sold at Costco, Walmart recalled after 95 injury reports
Sunbeam Products Inc. has issued a recall of over 1 million Oster French Door Countertop Ovens due to a potential burn hazard, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Thursday.
The affected ovens have a “spring-loaded bilateral” glass door. Sunbeam has received 95 reports of the doors closing unexpectedly, resulting in burns to users, including two with second-degree burns.
According to the release, ovens with model numbers TSSTTVFDXL, TSSTTVFDDG, TSSTTVFDMAF, and TSSTTVFDDAF are involved in the recall.
The ovens, priced between $140 and $250, were sold nationwide from August 2015 to July 2025 at Bed Bath and Beyond, Costco and Walmart stores, as well as on Amazon.com and Overstock.com.
