Bill O’Reilly: Trump needs hard evidence to revive 2020 election fight

Updated:
(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump needs to have hard evidence if he plans on reviving the fight over the 2020 election results, Bill O’Reilly believes.
Trump is set to address the nation Thursday about the election despite more pressing issues, such as Iran or the economy, being on Americans’ minds.
The author and podcaster told “On Balance” the president will have to acknowledge how Russia specifically contributed to tainting the voting process and how it paid off for President Biden.
“It drove him nuts to lose to Biden,” O’Reilly said Monday. “He does not believe that that election was fair. So psychologically, I understand, if you’re going to get new information, you want to put it out there.”
Asked if the relitigation of the election is tied to Trump trying to save the SAVE America Act, O’Reilly said it absolutely is.
The Senate has yet to pass the legislation, which has also been delayed due to a standoff among House Republicans that intensified earlier this month when Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., vowed to continue blocking floor action.
“It’s passionate on his part,” O’Reilly noted of Trump. “It enveloped him. And he believes it 100%, that there was voter fraud. It’s not like a policy. This is personal, like in ‘The Godfather,’ OK? ‘It’s business, not personal’? This is personal to him, and always has been.”
O’Reilly stated that Trump will gain some support from Americans if he also covers affordability and Iran during the address.
“It would be a good thing for the president to do,” he said.
