President Donald Trump is reportedly expected to sign a proclamation as soon as Friday overhauling the H-1B program by requiring a $100,000 fee for each visa application, a move the White House says is aimed at curbing overuse and protecting U.S. workers.
The order would restrict H-1B entry unless the payment accompanies the application, an official familiar with the plan told Bloomberg.
